To create this natural aged effect takes several days to break the raw metal finish down, once the rust has set in we then lacquer the shade and ceiling rose by hand to seal the finish. They each age slightly differently and this adds to the character of the finished lighting design. The finish is very textured and natural, this is not an immiation finish.
